In the ‘good ‘ol days’ it was easy to tell the ‘good guys’ from the ‘bad guys’ because the ‘good guys’ always wore white hats while the ‘bad guys’ always wore black ones.

Working with men and men’s issues over the last 25+ years has been an exciting adventure.  As a private therapist in suburban Detroit, seeing men discover their often long hidden (or presumed long lost) passions has been very rewarding and satisfying work! 

A ‘Baby Boom’ male presents his experience on how he views the traditional male model as becoming obsolete.  Through personal reflections, the presenter will summarize how it is necessary for today’s male to actively seek new alternatives to the ‘John Wayne Syndrome’ if he is to survive personally, socially and physically.  This is the result of current societal pressures, world economics, and the women’s movement.

One interpretation could be made that history has pretty much been a record of rising leaders demonstrating their inhumanity to their fellow mankind.  In addition to these numerous and well documented tragedies, are the often unspoken cooperations, conspirings, and collusions of various individuals and groups to facilitate and enhance the rewards to the identified leader. 

A growing number of men are coming to the conclusion that they no longer know who they really are, what (if anything) they’re “supposed” to be doing, and why so many things in the world are not better off than they were “destined to be”.
