I was born in the Philippines. My date of birth is March 15, 1928. My mother’s name is Marcela Rodriguez and my father’s name is Tsunitaro Yamauchi. My mother is a housewife and my father’s job is a retexture design engineer. I have four brothers and four sisters. Yes, we had a dog and a cat. I went to school in the Philippines. My favorite subject was history. It was very interesting to know famous people and historical events and wars. Yes. My husband was from Monroe and worked for Monroe Steel Casting till passed away. He worked for this company for 29 years. Yes, I have 3 children. my oldest son’s name is Paul and my daughter’s name is Catherine and my youngest son’s name is Joseph. I am retired. Yes, we moved from the Philippines to Japan. I think family is very important. My hobby is gardening, I love flowers. I do not have a favorite food; I like to eat different food. I like to read mystery novels. My enjoyable memories are when I was working in the office learning about different types of office routine. I like musical and family type of movies. My favorite actor\actress are Gregory Peck and Doris Day. I like classical and popular music. My favorite singer is Doris Day. Yes, I have four grandchildren. My oldest granddaughter is Lina, Anthony, Anna and Matthew. One live in Kansas, one in Illinois and the two live in Virginia. I moved in my current home in 1967, and still live there. We used to live in the farm and my husband got tired of driving and buying water for drinking.
We traded our house from Maybee , and do not have any idea who bought it. When I attended the Senior Adult High School , my teacher asked me where in Maybee I lived. I told her it was the last house on Bluebush Road. We were surprised to find out we owned the same house, she was the one who bought our farm house. Her name is Patti Wertinger {my teacher] , a very good teacher. She taught me all the required subjects to take so I can get my High School Diploma. It was challenging, but since I was out of school since 1941, when the World War 11 began. Our schools were closed for five years and when they opened, I was too old and had to help my mother to raised my brothers and sisters. We lost everything during the war. And now I achived what I always wanted, my High School Diploma. I graduated in 2005.
