Clyde Furuta

Healthcare is and has always been a big part of my life.

My father was a registered pharmacist who owned his own store in Detroit. All of his 3 children started their working years with him. I started working in the drugstore when I was nine as a dishwasher behind the soda fountain.

When I graduated from Wayne State University’s Pharmacy School in 1977, I started working for a small chain of drug stores. I soon became a partner and pharmacy director by the time we sold the company.

For more than 32 years, I have worked in the Detroit metro area as a pharmacist. I’m proud to say my two children have started their working careers here with me at MedEx Direct, helping us provide you the best service possible.
