how much salt is to much?

Maxine, it would probably be best if all of us put our salt shakers away permanently. However, some people tolerate salt quite well while others shouldn't use.

This is a discussion you should have with your doctor. If you have heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes or hypertension throwing the salt shaker out and avoiding salty foods is a very good idea.

Thank you for your question and God bless you. --------- Mary Ann Ryan RN
