I recently attended an annual men’s convention where I enjoyed the pleasure of friendships made over more than a decade of sharing an entire week together each Fall.

I recently had the great pleasure of seeing the DVD movie on the life and times of the well-known philosopher, and movie title, “Confucius”.

In reading the newspaper the other day I was struck by a story of how a lawsuit was filed by the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) that argues all students of the state of Michigan have a fundamental right to read.  

Lying on my doctor’s office table I recently heard the personal story of the professional checking my neck arteries to make sure my brain is getting adequate blood supply (something we older people need to have done, taking away yet another excuse we might try to use for memory lapses - laugh out loud - LOL).

With an anticipated $1 Billion dollars to be spent by our political parties to elect our next President (and that doesn’t include the new Super Pac’s HUGE sums), perhaps we have reached yet another boundary we cannot afford to cross, or even live within???
