The one person we do not have to hurry for is God.

God is waiting for us!  So much of our lives go by so fast.  Many of us over-60-ish people look back and say “where did time go!”  If we honestly reflect we can also see where God has been busy in our lives over the years:  Getting us through the difficult times and celebrating with us in the good times.

We need to pause and reflect throughout the day to remember that all is sacred in our lives.  The people, the places and the earth, these are all of God’s doings.  To pause and remember that God is always with us even when we forget, God remembers.  To pause throughout the day also helps us to slow down and we will actually get more done because we are doing it with God’s grace.  To pause and reflect also helps us to be more at peace with our selves, our families and our neighbors.

Remember that true peace begins within oneself.

So hurry up but wait for God because God is waiting for you.
