Gombert has now brought his talents to www.50plusprime.com, designing all art work for the website’s Baby Boomer Bakery.

Bobby’s background is in advertising, graphic design, print media, and humorous communications.  He has a BA in Graphic Design from Abilene Christian University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While there, he won numerous regional and national awards as a collegiate political and editorial cartoonist. Over the years, he has worked with various companies such as Pegasus Communications (Boston, MA) Thomas Nelson Publishers, (Nashville, TN) Broadman and Holman Publishers (Nashville, TN), The Coca-Cola Company (Atlanta, GA), USAA (San Antonio, TX), Global Marine (Houston, TX) Clarke American (San Antonio, TX), DaySpring Greeting Cards (Siloam Springs, AR), Tennessee Realtors Association (Nashville, TN), Getadirection.com (Boerne, TX) and Oatmeal Studios (Rodchester, VT).

Bobby was launched onto the national stage in the greeting card business, where he developed and launched a greeting card line with DaySpring Greeting Card Company called Gombert’s Gallery. He also illustrated cards for their Grin-N-Share line and, most recently, has contributed to Oatmeal Studio’s Proud Monkey Productions line.

Bobby is the illustrator of nine books, several of which are best selling book series that have been marketed worldwide in almost a dozen languages. They include the popular Learning Fables series written by David Hutchens and published with Pegasus Communications in Boston. The five books in the series, Outlearning the Wolves, Shadows of the Neanderthal, Listening to the Volcano, The Tip of the Iceberg, and The Lemming Dilemma are used by numerous Fortune 500 companies in their organizational training programs. They have found a broad and diverse market that includes everyone from executive teams, graduate students, and even grade schoolers.

Bobby is the illustrator of the best-selling book series, My Prayer Journal and My Faith Journal, with Tommy Nelson in Nashville. He also provided creative support and illustration for leadership expert John C. Maxwell’s Leading from the Lockers books, also published by Tommy Nelson.

Gombert continues to create humorous illustration for all types of media, consults with companies and individuals about their creative development needs, and is developing various product lines of his own that will be introduced to the marketplace sometime in the near future.

Gombert is a native to the gorgeous, Texas Hill Country, and lives just outside the San Antonio area, with his beautiful wife, Liana, and brilliant son, Luke.
