Royal Caribbean will be launching its newest ship later this year, called Oasis of the Seas. And, what a ship it is.

Baby Boomers, if you like to cruise than this experience has to be on your short list of options.

Oasis of the Seas fast facts:

  • Launching date: late 2009
  • 7 neighborhoods
  • 5,400 guests
  • 2,700 staterooms
  • 16 decks high

Central Park
The ship has a central park neighborhood theme, combining nature with nautical. It's like the ship’s town-square with street performances in the evening. There are 254 Central Park view balcony rooms, and 70 Central Park view staterooms.

Boardwalk
The Boardwalk neighborhood is a combination of old-world charm with a modern twist. You'll enjoy a one-of-a-kind Aqua Theater and the first ever carousel at sea. Royal Caribbean offers enough games, amusements and attractions to keep even the most blase' traveler entertained.

Royal Promenade
The Royal Promenade neighborhood features Rising Tide, a levitating bar that ascends and descends over three decks, and enough shops and restaurants to entertain everyone. A mezzanine level that overlooks the space below adds to the excitement of the promenade.

Royal Caribbean is now accepting reservations for this beautiful ship. So, baby boomers, why not make your friends envious and be one of the first to set sail on one of the largest ships sailing the Caribbean!
